The man makes a mockery of himself in public
People were left shocked on Saturday night after the n*ked man
emerged from behind a limousine and and began running on the road
bare-footed.
The 47-year-old man can be seen running in the middle of the Broad
Street in Birmingham, obstructing traffic, before he made it past
several busy nightclubs away from police.
Police pursued him before he was caught up and saved from the
disgrace. He was fined for being drunk and disorderly in a public place.
A witness said: “My friend said ‘look at that man over there’.
“I saw a man running n*ked and everyone clapping and cheering him on.
“He was running around acting like it was funny.
“He disappeared and came back with the police and they put him in the back of an ambulance."
The witness added: “I thought it was hilarious but then my friend explained there were still kids around on Broad Street.
“You can’t be running around n*ked — that’s not funny.
“I’ve always been to Broad Street, had a drink, had a good time and never caused any trouble.”
A West Midlands Police spokeswoman said: “Police were called to
Broad Street, Birmingham, at around 8.40pm on Saturday March 19
following reports of a naked man in the street.
“Officers arrested a 47-year-old man.
“He was released from custody on March 20 where he was issued
with a penalty notice for being drunk and disorderly in a public place.”
